I do not think I have ever met anyone who enjoys seeing the innocent suffer.

If your morals are ambiguous, then your moral judgements must follow. et-al The blind leading the blind. ... We all need to work at improving our vision, NOT convincing others to become blind. Your scholarly research is based not on empiricism, but of ideology. We are drowning in the evidence of our national moral decline. Just look out the window.....

Correlation does not even imply causation. Bad economic times test more heavily the moral fabric that hold us together. If morals are weak they will break under less stress. If they are strong they will stand under heavier duress.

5 minutes of Google will give you 5 minutes of Google...Not necessarily the truth.

I do not exactly get paid for editing this stuff, and I do not have interns working for me, so it can get a little laborious fact checking every submission that I get.
Although I apologize for the propagation of any misinformation.

That letter leaves out a lot of pertinent information.

According to the testimony of four other officers officer Mohr commanded her dog to bite the suspect when he was in custody and up against a wall.

Officer Mohr also had four prior civil suits against her for unlawfully commanding her dog to bite. Three of those were settled, with the county paying out money to the plaintiffs.

The FBI is investigating the Prince George's county K9 unit because of their extremely high rate of bites and their near-total lack of record keeping.

Five minutes of Google will do a lot for the credibility (or lack thereof) of a story.

Due to the Republican rherotic - which amounts to nothing more than a distraction - we are led to believe that this country's morality is on the decline, which - abscent of any credible empirical evidience or analysis, Republicans ignore of the scholarly research conducted upon criminology.

To put it is in the most understandable terms: The Great Depression incurred one of the largents spikes in crimes in
American history.

Therefore, crime is not some causation brought about by the erosion of morality; rather, crime in virtually every study has be correlated with unemployment and the economy.

On a Final note: crime spikes tend to always occur during the Holiday Season, such as Christmas. Therefore, we are not dealing with people who lack any and all cumpunction when it comes to respecting their fellow human beings, but - I think it is safe to assume, crimes during the leadup to Christmas consists of individuals who feel such an obligation to their families to procure the neccessary means to provide their famility with the presents and good tidings associated with the Christman season.

Whether one goes to great lengths to procure presents for one's loved ones is a negation of morality is certainly an issued ambiguous.

If the commenter above is so concerned with crime, then I would suggest assuring that all Americans can participate in the good tidings of the holiday season by engaging a protracted project intented to provide impoverished people with the bare necessitites need for these people to no longer feel as though crime is their only recourse.

Justice is fast disapearing from our nation. Police aren't the only people who have to worry about being criminalized. We ,the everyday citizens of The United States also have this worry. People in this country seem to derive great joy out of seeing other people suffer, this includes the innocent. I am one of the many who has been wrongfully incarcerated in a system that values money more than life.
