TODAY LB, Inc., publicly announced via Public Radio, Inc.’s, radio stations WAPN 91.5 FM, Holly Hill, Florida and WAPB 91.7 FM, Madison, Florida the launch of a weekly Live Call-in Radio News Talk Show, “LESSONS LEARNED” Hosted by Internationally recognized Author, Lonnie D. Story.
The News Talk Show, (Formally known as: “LESSONS LEARNED: History Applied to Tomorrow for Today’s News”), will have its inaugural broadcast on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. EST and each following Monday at the same time. The broadcast will be live via both radio stations on air at WAPN 91.5 FM and WAPB 91.7 FM in Florida and simulcast world-wide through the Internet at www.WAPN.NET. The simulcast will be a live feed of both audio and “In-studio” video of Mr. Story and his guests. The inaugural program is anticipating an audience possibly in excess of some 30,000 or more listeners throughout the broadcast area and globally through the Internet.
Lonnie D. Story is well-recognized author, speaker and biographer. He reached international acclaim through his first book “The Meeting of Anni Adams: The Butterfly of Luxembourg.” He has been lauded for his work by numerous international organizations and governments for his literary work including the Luxembourg Ambassadors to the United States and United Nations, The Luxembourg General Consul and the Grand Duke of Luxembourg. His work has been critically acclaimed with high marks by such media outlets as the national Catholic news magazine St. Anthony’s Messenger, The Florida Catholic, Senior’s Magazine, as well as many other newspaper and magazine articles. He has appeared as special guest to many television and radio programs throughout the U.S. In addition to this, he has distinguished himself as a Columnist for the Populist Party of America in its bi-monthly newsletter reaching a readership of 10’s of thousands. He is currently working on his second book “Without A Shot Fired: The Dustin Brim Story.” The story of a young, American soldier, U.S. Army Specialist Dustin Brim who was believed to have been exposed to Depleted Uranium during deployment to the war in Iraq and lethally ravaged by a unusual and diverse cancer subsequently dying at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in less than six (6) months removed from the battlefield.
Story will be hosting the inaugural news talk show with his first guest being Lori Brim, the mother of deceased Army Veteran, Dustin Brim. Ms. Brim will be discussing her trials and tribulations through this horrific tragedy, the loss of her only son and her battle for the truth from a government refusing to answer her questions, including the disappearance of her son’s pre-deployment medical records, his personal belongings and the unwillingness of her own local, State and National representatives to intervene on her behalf. The live Call-in program will be open to the listening audience to join in this discussion and will include the subject matter of the use of Depleted Uranium in munitions from the U.S. Military in Iraq and other conflicts. Everyone will be invited to join in this conversation from Experts, Governmental Officials to the public at large.
