This is hilarious. Do none of you have spell-check? It's built right into this website... maybe it's more of a grammar issue, but I digress. I stumbled across this site looking for a reference about this kid, Arthur Mkoyan, who is being deported in spite of being the valedictorian of his class. The US welcomes illegal immigrants because it reduces the input costs for labor. This is a conscious decision. Mexico's #1 input to the GNP is money transfers from the mobile labor force. I think it's brilliant, really... a mutually beneficial relationship.

However, it is not the underclass that comes over, it is the best of breed. It is the same archetype that drove the success of the United States. If anything, there is something to be learned from people who will work (yes, you lazy, welfare collecting ball of losers) for even paltry wages, who will strive, who will study instead of party, who will save instead of spend (yes, you irresponsible, equity inverted bunch of deadbeats).

Anyway, it looks like at least a few others read this tripe and are responding likewise, and some others, well...

Can American exist without illegal work force?
Who is going to pick the strawberry or garlic?
Who will wash your car at the auto-mat?
Who will wash dishes and help you clean the house?

Without the illegal immigrants, we have to work harder and mow our own grass every weekend.

We can't afford to live without them.

Gracias

I agree with the comments above. Michael, you are a deusche bag. Not simply for the inhumane understanding of political and economical strife in the world (that we as Americans, purposefully or not, benefit from), but also for your lack of understanding in the ways in which our economy grows and prospers. Instead people, such as yourself, start rumours of how immigrants are stealing all your jobs and that there are not enough resources to share and scare the general public into thinking they are true. God Forbid the United States and our people ever find ourselves in a position where we may need aid. That is, however, besides the point. I honestly hope no one takes this article too seriously, or takes you, michael, too seriously...

Micheal, unless you are an illegal immigrant who has made the journey across the border, than you neither have any idea what it is like. Maybe you can empathize with them, but there should still be border restrictions. You gave the example of imagining your family starving, etc. Now imagine your parents working in a building, then imagine no building further more existing. I am not saying illegal immigrants who come here for a better life are a national threat, but lack of border security poses a major threat on the well being of the united states. The open borders can easily be exploited by those wishing harm upon american citizens. And what about the crime rate? Illegal Immigrants add to the crime of America no matter how little crime they commit. That is another unwanted side effect. Next time you decide to throw the word ignorance around look things up from both sides of the argument and maybe you will not be the once looking like a naive "douche bag." Also, you spelled douche wrong. Maybe it is not ignorance that plagues you, but illiteracy.

The fact of the matter is that Mexico has a deliberate policy of exporting their underclass into this country, which has the effect of reducing wages in all sectors of the economy in which the migrant labor competes. Why should we submit to the pressures of Mexican elites who are rich to the point of gluttany, in order for them to diminish demands among the Mexican populace for socioeconomic reform.
The Mexican people seem almost to willing to accept the injustices latent in their own country, and all too willing to express demands upon the United States.
If you really cared about the Mexican population you would work to retract NAFTA, which was the ultimate precipitant leading to this mass exodus from Mexico into this country.
Also, I think it is a bit hypocritical of Mexico making demands upon the United States to reform its immigration policies, when Mexican law imposes felony charges upon illegal immigrants found in its own country. Perhaps, you could explain the logic behind you own assertations that America is being unfair, when we continue to have the most liberal immigration policies of any country in the World.

and the immigrant arent asking you to let them into your house they just want us to let them into our frigin cournty. Like there isn't enough room or something, your such a deuche bag as i keep reading ur thing, there is no way people are starving, and dying in america like they are in mexico or other parts of the world, america has wellfare, child services, and all kinds of programs out there, not to say people or children in america don't need help, they do, but not like they do in most other parts of world, i dont have any data to back me up but im am sure the less children die in america of starvation then around the world and definitly in mexico. It is very obvious that you are a very ignorant person and are in desparate need of knowledge you probly didn't go to college. Tell me if im am wrong. Just remember this "Evil is ignorance of good" paraphrased qoute from socrates. (Greek philosopher) You are so very wrong in your beliefs i would say from your text that you are over the age of forty, possibly have a family, you are white, and it is just a hunch but i bet you don't care much for black people either. Let me know if im right on any of them. your misery will continue until you recieve knowledge and open your heart.

your a deuche bag and i bet your older then me to which is the sad part, im 21 male. Yes give me ur tired, poor, and hungry means we open our doors to all becuase what if the all was you or me. Imagine you family is starving there is no work you goverment has abandoned you and the only hope of keeping your kids and you family not to mention ur self alive is to cross over some stupid fence. And they risk their lives crossing the stupid border just to live in some over populated shack to work at some of the lowest paying, labor intensive jobs available. Risk their lives to go wash dishes or scrub the floors and for what for minium wage. You have grown men making the same amount of money as high school kids working in retail stores. You better hope that hard times never roll around your way becasuse no ones gona be there to help you. You have alot of growing left to do, you make sure you have all the facts and truly understand what these people are going through. Good luck and stop speading your hate messages in the mean time!
